Whilst bloodshed, bullets, decapitations and disfigurements litter Wadlow’s sequel, virtually all of it is staged in a greatly cartoonish manner – like a Quentin Tarantino movie.(Download Kick-Ass 2) Never does his camera linger on the gore or those savaged, rather it captures the fluidity and skill of the said hero in the scenario. Watching Hit-Girl spin, jump and flip as she slices twenty goons is the pleasure here, not the fact that she is ending various lives. It’s a film based on an adult graphic novel, it isn’t Shakespeare.(Download Kick-Ass 2) However some of the scenes are unforgiving, much due to The Motherfucker’s repugnant nature. His lust for murder, mayhem and violation makes him a rightly gruesome baddie – a character who audiences will want to meet his demise. Armed with his crudely named mob The Toxic Mega Cunts, The Motherfucker pledges to destroy Kick-Ass’ world and Wadlow captures this with true promise. Personally I think its great that Marv and Universal Pictures haven’t buckled under standard studio pressures and made miscellaneous cuts to gain a 12A certificate;(Download Kick-Ass 2) this is adult entertainment – it is no place for the young. Having said that, the studio heads did decide to leave the novel’s most controversial scene out of the film – a moment in which The Motherfucker and his crew brutally gang rape Kick-Ass’ high school sweetheart Katie. Probably for the best to be honest…(Download Kick-Ass 2) Moments like this is what make the novel something of a conflicted read; you are brought into an over-the-top world laden with zany and creative individuals before being slammed back into reality with something as cruel as rape, or the murdering of a dog (also left out of the film). Wadlow’s choice for leaving these scenes gives the film a more even tone and allows it to always feel exaggerated even at its darkest.

(Download Kick-Ass 2) There is simply no doubt that Kick-Ass 2 is a solid second part; its relentlessly entertaining, frequently funny and framed with true precision and skill – much of the fight scenes are choreographed like a hyper-grisly ballet routine; elegant, effective and engrossing – however what lets it down is the lack of warmth. 2010′s Kick-Ass was such a hit not only because it was sweary and stabby,(Download Kick-Ass 2) but because audiences could relate to Dave; an ordinary guy trying to do right and standing tall in the face of adversity. Whilst he is forced to stand tall against The Motherfucker here, the charming, nervous geek is dead. Instead he’s a cocky, chauvinistic hero who has little time for his old pals or traditional teenage roots. Sure he’s still fun to watch and spend time with – he is after all Kick-Ass – but the growth of the character won’t touch your inner hero and nerd like Matthew Vaughn did when he brought Mark Miller‘s creation to life on the silver screen.(Download Kick-Ass 2) The merging of two comic books (Kick-Ass 2 and the spin-off staged between the two novels Hit-Girl) means the narrative is multi-stranded and this may surprise and irritate some viewers. One of the major developments throughout is the evolution of Hit-Girl which sees her character alter and embark in a new direction – this plot-twist if you can call it that is likely to divide. For me it worked, Mindy has always been the most interesting and enjoyable part of the Kick-Ass world so more emphasis and screen-time with her is nothing but a pleasure.

(Download Kick-Ass 2) Its unsurprising then that Moretz steals the movie – her performance as Hit-Girl is so kinetic and expansive that it would be a dream to get a solo picture, providing they don’t go all Elektra or whatever. Even in the more clichéd moments when she is trying to fit in with the popular girls at school, her dialogue delivery and screen presence is so forceful and demanding that she can stand with the biggest and make them feel little. Its quite simply amazing just how universal Moretz is as an actress considering she’s 16 years old – the girl has even worked with Martin Scorsese for crying out loud. Taylor-Johnson is strong as Kick-Ass and handles the material well – its just a shame his periods as Dave aren’t as sincere.(Download Kick-Ass 2) Mintz-Plasse is fantastic as The Motherfucker; he truly embraces the horrors of his new alter-ego and runs riot with it. People won’t be calling him McLovin for much longer…Carrey is also strong as Colonel Stars and Stripes but improvements could have been made if his character was further fleshed.It might not be the sequel that many were expecting, but Kick-Ass 2 is a really good one, and a film brave enough to explore new avenues rather than rehashing the same ideas and tropes as its predecessor. Hit-Girl alone is worthy of the admission price.(Download Kick-Ass 2) Dave and Mindy aka Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl close briefly to put together the criminals in the streets of New York City the craft. Under pressure from her foster father Marcus gibts Mindy her double life for the sake of the family, however, on Kick-Ass is now on their own and thus easy prey for its enemies, but in the hour of greatest need, he receives unexpected help from an amateur hero grouping to "Justice Forever" calls.

The young director Jeff Wadlow it was now permitted, in the sequel as a director and writer in personal union, as Vaughn in front of him to confirm the high expectations. The message was: each of us can be a hero without superpowers. Kick-Ass 2 continues this premise and has his characters remain human, people with a special courage, but without special powers that have to cope with everyday problems.

For many rashes on the humor-barometer, however, make "The Motherfucker", formerly "Red Mist", again played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who may be deliciously wicked, and his allies "Mother Russia", a blend of Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger at his best Conan -days.(Download Kick-Ass 2) Overall, Jeff Wadlow is the predecessor stylistically faithful, the script leans back greatly to the eight-volume comic books by writer Mark Millar on which the basis for Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass already created for the first film with a comic book series. Accordingly, the level of violence in Kick-Ass 2 is again quite high, but without going into the full - not everything is shown to the smallest detail. Some visitors have snubbed the idea about something, but I do not think that you necessarily have to show everything. Nevertheless,(Download Kick-Ass 2) one has to worry that the movie under the guise of universal was softened up.
